Sorceress Doodle

So yeah, I've taken up doodling again. This is something I did while bored one of the nights I was netless.

Forgive the poor image quality, it was taken hastily with a phone and then promptly mailed to =VampiricGoddess, who stole it from me with a, "Hee pretty, can I have it."

I'll get a better picture up as soon as she takes one of it.

Some mild controversy has come up recently about this work. I feel I should address it openly, and spare you all the hassle.

There is a party who believe I took this work from a How to Draw book, even if this were so, which it is very much not, claiming theft of it is ridiculous, as it is a How to Draw book. My intentionally poor quality Minecraft drawings were even used for comparison at one point.

However, the source of this work is much more innocent than all that.

As many of you know, and by many, I, of course, mean very, very few, I spent years mentoring under a number of professional artists in my youth. The result of which was my own profession as an artist.

One of said mentors was Steve Beaumont. The author of said book.

Now, having never heard of this book before the above mentioned party brought it to my attention, I can only assume that I saw the drawing in its rough stage, and committed it to memory, as I am wont to do. The image then came to me again while I was doing action line work while very bored one evening.

I apologize for wasting your time with this, it just seems ridiculous that I am being harassed over a drawing from a How to Draw book that I've never even seen.
